Meet My Time Police ⏰
I have something I jokingly call my Time Police.
It’s actually just an hourly reminder on my phone, but it has become one of the simplest little tech habits I use during the day.
When I’m working on something, I can get very focused and suddenly realize I’ve been sitting in the same place for way too long.
So once an hour, my reminder goes off.
That’s my cue to get up.
I might refill my water, stretch, walk around for a few minutes, run to the bathroom, or just step away from the screen.
Nothing fancy.
But it works.
And it’s a good reminder that technology doesn’t always have to be complicated to be useful.
Sometimes we think “tech” means learning a new program, using AI, building a website, or figuring out some big new tool.
But sometimes the best use of technology is simply taking something you already have and using it in a way that makes your day easier.
That’s part of what I want to share here in Digital Life With Sandee.
Yes, we’ll talk about Canva, ChatGPT, Squarespace, email, websites, and all kinds of everyday tech.
But I also want to share the little things.
The simple tricks.
The things I learn along the way.
The things that make me stop and think, “Well, THAT was helpful.”
And sometimes that might be nothing more than a reminder on your phone telling you to get out of the chair. 😂
Do you have a little tech trick that makes your day easier?
