Let ChatGPT Interview You First

This morning I sent an email sharing an idea for using ChatGPT.

The idea was simple: instead of staring at a blank screen trying to write about yourself, give ChatGPT the idea first.

Tell it what you’re thinking about.

Give it some backstory.

Explain why you’re doing it, what you already know, and anything else that might help it understand where you’re coming from.

Then ask ChatGPT to interview you.

Let it ask questions.

Let it pull out your experience.

Let it help you remember things you haven’t thought about in years.

Then use those answers to help create what you need.

A little while after I sent that email, someone replied and said it had sparked an idea.

She realized she could have ChatGPT interview her about her work history and help her create an updated résumé, something she hasn’t done in about 30 years.

And I thought...

YES. This is exactly what I mean.

Sometimes the most useful thing about technology isn’t learning every feature.

It’s seeing one idea and suddenly thinking:

“Wait... I could use it for THAT?”

That’s the kind of thing I want to share more of with Digital Life With Sandee.

Practical ideas.

Real-life uses.

Things I’m learning.

Things that make everyday life or work a little easier.

Because sometimes one little idea opens a whole new door. 💡🌻
